Carla Ericson is an accomplished artist currently residing in Myrtle Beach, SC. She paints classic realism in oil. Her subject matter is diverse, reflecting life’s beauty. She excels in portraiture. Her work closely resembles he style of old masters such as William Bouguereau, Rembrandt & Vermeer.

As a professional figure skater, and virtuoso her career was spent creating artistry in the physical form. Oil painting for her is making a connection to that creative source. She first picked up a paint brush just a handful of years ago and began choreographing visual depictions to the music of her soul. She paints like she skates, with grace, elegance and diligent precision. For her it has been a pleasing challenge to convert her emotions into a visual statement on canvas.
